Tvitec offers you a comprehensive glass production system – for both flat and curved glass –that manufactures to the highest level of perfection. Our production facilities total near 2.1 million square feet (200,000 square meters) of surface and they all enjoy international quality certifications of their sector. Tvitec 4.0 factories are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure maximal precision in all automated treatments. As such, the company brings a huge added value to the glass specifications, ensuring the best thermal insulation, safety, acoustic and esthetic benefits for the building. The Quality Control Department of Tvitec is the end result of coordinated efforts of different sectors of the company. Its main objective is to continuously improve its production methods to guarantee the excellence of its end products. This is combined with providing a comprehensive customer support. Tvitec has the principal high-quality certifications required by the construction industry for high-performance glass. Among our main functions are:

Quality Policy Implementation, based on two fundamental pillars:
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Evaluation and analysis of the risks and individual details of each project, and adapting the processes, as needed in each case.
Promotion and implementation of quality control methods for the product during processing, and for the end result; these have the sole objective of guaranteeing a supply that meets the most demanding international markets.

ONE VANDERBILT. NEW YORK

It's soaring glass- and terra cotta-clad supertall tower adjacent to Grand Central Terminal. Tvitec supplied more than 50.000 meters of Isolar insulated glass. As project architect KPF describes, the 77-story addition to the Manhattan skyline that, at just over 427 m. tall, stands as the second tallest office tower in the entire city. Tvitec also fabricated amazing oversized glass for the lobby up to 7 meters. The developer was SL Green. One Vanderbilt is being touted as one of the most ecologically sensitive skyscrapers in New York, including high-performance glazing that helps to minimize heating and cooling needs.

Rocalux® combines the strength and durability of glass with the ability to adopt textures and hues characteristic of traditional construction materials, such as natural stone, allowing customers to customize their designs with unique surface finishes. Requirements Evaluated by Tecnalia: ✅ Mechanical resistance and stability ✅ Fire safety ✅ Hygiene, health, and environment ✅ Safety of use ✅ Noise protection ✅ Energy saving

Additionally, the TC considers the "durability" of the product and the manufacturer's commitment to production self-control and technical assistance in installation. Tecnalia subjects products to rigorous tests and periodic audits to ensure optimal manufacturing conditions are maintained.

Tecnalia, as an authorized body, evaluates the technical suitability of innovative construction products and systems, ensuring their compliance with the technical requirements demanded by the CTE. This process includes the evaluation of compliance with technical and performance requirements, durability, installation, and maintenance of production self-control.

The list of the most significant processors, published by Glass Magazine, includes a select group of 70 companies dominating the North American market. Tvitec | Cricursa is one of the few European firms featured in this selection. Moreover, it is generally one of the only companies that integrates the manufacturing of both flat and curved high-quality glass, in addition to possessing the necessary technology for processing units up to 18 meters in length.

That's why we proudly present the certifications from the prestigious IFT Rosenheim Institute for the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for all our high-performance glazed solutions. The IFT declarations cover both tempered and laminated safety glass as well as all insulating glass units, in both double and triple glazing configurations. These are based on the most demanding quality certifications such as EN ISO 14025:2011 and DIN EN15804:2012 A2:2019. They guarantee both the flat glass that leaves Tvitec's factories and the curved glass processed at Cricursa's plants.
